Do updates get reverted

On Locl, updates are not automatically reverted. However, it’s important to be aware of several scenarios where changes might be affected:

  •  Manual Reversion: Users can manually revert changes if they wish to go back to previous information. This is usually done by editing the information again and saving the older details.

  • Syncing Issues: Locl is used to synchronize information across multiple directories, there could be instances where the information on Locl does not properly sync with a directory, or vice versa. This could potentially lead to discrepancies or unintended reversion of updates. Regular checks and manual corrections might be necessary in such cases.

  • Automated Overwrites: Locl is integrated with other systems (like Google My Business, social media platforms, etc.), and these systems have different information, there might be automated overwrites based on the syncing rules set in Locl. It’s important to ensure that all integrated platforms have consistent information to avoid such overwrites.

  • System Errors or Rollback: Rarely, technical issues or system updates on locl.io could result in changes being lost or reverted. This is usually an unintended consequence and not a regular occurrence.
